Enfilade Living
Creating Value Through Productization
Enfilade Living is a modular, affordable housing system that removes traditional hallways to maximize usable space. Units are organized around a continuous open path, with private rooms tucked to the side and dual exterior access offering both communal and individual entries. A cruciform structural system defines the spaces in all three dimensions, allowing units to scale from compact studios to two-bedroom apartments. The system is deployed on a site with a historic NOPSI substation, integrating residential and public spaces through adaptive reuse. This project explores how structure can drive spatial logic, density, and affordability in both new and existing urban contexts.
